Kid: Can you read me a bed time story?
Me:…yes! *leaves the room*
Me: *grabs NoTW, WMF, Slow Regard, ALL the anthologies, Doors of Stone (hopefully Jesus)…wearing all my shirts I have made and bought, all layered over one another…and holding the entire ensemble together the Eolian hoodie (somewhere underneath the layers is Tehlu’s Iron Wheel.) Worldbuilders stickers are everywhere, as are Draccus plushies. I also grab my eolian mug, posters, bookmarks and my computer for blog entries and tweets.*
Me: It was a silence of three parts…
Kid: You haven’t opened the book yet
Me: I memorized the first book
